Xiaomi Plans On Releasing A Curved Full Screen Phone – Photos

Published

on

xiaomi curved screen phone

Xiaomi has on releasing a Xiaomi Curved Screen phone and they have even patented the design which means we would be seeing something like that from them very soon. Xiaomi hasn’t failed on releasing top-notch devices lately.

xiaomi curved screen phone

The new patent was approved by the WIPO (World International Property Office). The patent is named -a full-screen smartphone with 4 sided edges, and it’s really similar to Samsung’s dual curved screen, but this time, Xiaomi just wants to curve every inch of the display.

Xiomi Curved Screen Phone

The Xiaomi Curved Screen Phone

The design shown below shows a smartphone design that comes with a dual rear camera and a LED flash on the rear, with no fingerprint scanner in sight, which means there will be an in-display fingerprint scanner. In front, interestingly there’s no selfie camera, not even a notch nor a hole punch which makes me wonder if Xiaomi would use an on-screen camera beneath.

The left and right-hand view look bare, but there is room for a USB connector on the bottom next to the edge of the curved screen. The top view is also bare, so that removes the option of a pop-up selfie camera.

While bezel-free display has almost become a reality, a smartphone with 4 curved sides with no plans for selfie camera would be something we wish to behold someday, but like some other patents, this might never become a reality, but then, we’re eagerly awaiting what becomes of this latest design.

Instagram For Web

Instagram for web messaging would soon be possible as the Facebook-owned photo-sharing platform has revealed its plans to make the messaging feature available for the web version.

Instagram For Web

If you recall Instagram started majorly as an app and only did it become a web app in the past couple of years and it seems they’re looking to make it available on the web fully without stripping down features

I believe this new feature might also pave the way for the unified chat system that Facebook has for Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram Direct.

According to Jane Manchun Wong, the service should use the URL Instagram.com/direct/ and should be available via a direct arrow icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

Samsung Galaxy A20 Running On Android GO Spotted On GeekBench

Published

on

Galaxy A20 Android GO

With the first pair of the new Galaxy M series now on sale, the Galaxy A-series is apparently now the next for overhauling with the Galaxy A20. The brand is reportedly working on a number of the Galaxy A-series smartphones, and while a good number of them will arrive as mid-range offerings, it appears that a couple of entry-level offerings might be in the mix.

Galaxy A20 Android GO

A yet-to-be-announced Samsung device with the model number SM-A260F has surfaced on the Geekbench database, and if reports are to be believed, the device in question could launch as the Android Go version of the Galaxy A20 that was seen on the same Geekbench about a month ago.

As per the listing, the device will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7870 processor previously seen in the A6 and some other dated Samsung Galaxy J series smartphones. The chipset will be aided by 1GB of RAM, and interestingly, the listing mentioned ‘go’ in the SoC section which suggests the device will eventually launch as an Android Go device, though still based on Android 8.

Galaxy A20

Not much else is known about the device at the moment, but as with the Galaxy J2 core Android Go phone and other Android Go edition smartphones, we expect the Galaxy A20 to pack some entry hardware devoid of a fingerprint scanner, dual rear cameras and so on.

Hammer VPN Settings For MTN 2019 Let's You Browse Free - How To Configure 3

So a couple of people have asked me how they can browse free on MTN and today someone just sent me Hammer VPN settings for MTN, so here’s how it works. It’s very similar to the Combo VPN setting I posted about a few hours ago but the limit is higher.

Basically, the VPN has tons of servers to choose from and you can even get unlimited data or in a few cases, you’ll be limited to a particular data cap.

Hammer VPN Settings For MTN – How It Works

Like all VPN services, Hammer VPN has both a free and paid server plans. The free server is capped at 100MB per day and immediately that 100MB is finished you can easily switch to another free server and connect again. You get 14 free servers per day which is equivalent to 1.4GB.

Hammer VPN Settings For MTN – How To Configure

In order to use Hammer VPN on your MTN device here’s what you need to do. Carefully follow the instructions below

Requirements

  • MTN 4G or 3G sim without active data
  • Default MTN APN settings
  • Hammer VPN APK – Download Here

Settings

  • Username: ntg1234
  • Password: leave it at the default (do not edit it)
  • Server: Choose any free server
  • Use this as the ports to the two boxes

The first box is 8080 and the second box is 9201. Select UDP too and then click on connect.

It may take about 10 -30 seconds for the VPN to establish a connection based on how strong the network is at your location before finally getting connected. Once it gets connected, launch your browser and start browsing, surfing the web and stream any video you want.

Hammer VPN Settings For MTN – How To Bypass 100MB Limit

Of course, after you have connected to a server, there’s no way you won’t exhaust the daily 100mb data limit on the server, So here is an easy way you can use to bypass its limit. You can either use your phone file manager for this or ES File Explorer

  • Select “SHOW HIDDEN FILES“ from the menu, go to your INTERNAL STORAGE (SD CARD) folder and then tap on “ANDROID” folder and you will see all hidden files on it.
