Infinix Zero 6 / Zero 6 Pro : Full Review, Price And Specifications In Nigeria 1
Infinix released the S3x smartphone with a notch  recently and from the information I’ve gathered so far they also plan to release the Infinix Zero 6 / Zero 6 Pro with a notch as well and considering the fact that I’m not a huge fan of notches I might not like the phone , However the name and ram size are a match – Zero 6 , 6 GB RAM.
Nevertheless the phone comes with decent specifications though. I was able to compile the information I took from GeekBench and the FCC website into one picture. So below is a realistic render of the Infinix Zero 6 I created alongside with the specifications that I have confirmed so far.
Infinix Zero 6

Infinix Zero 6

So basically you get a phone with the following specifications

Infinix Zero 6 / Zero 6 Pro Specs and Price In Nigeria and Kenya

  • Android 8.1 Oreo
  • Snapdragon 660 SoC
  • 6gb RAM
  • LTE Support
  • 3650 mAh Battery
  • Dual Rear Camera plus LED Flash
  • USB Type C
The 3.5mm headphone jack is placed below the device beside the charging port and speaker grills.
I haven’t confirmed the exact number of megapixels the camera comes with but some sources speculate that it may have between 16-24 megapixels.
However keep an eye on this post and I’ll update it as soon as I hear from the horse’s mouth.
The Infinix Zero 6 was missing from the list of flagships launched by the Transission owned brand last year, However, the Infinix Zero 6 will be showing up in retail stores near you in a few weeks. The device was last year spotted on the Federal Communication Commisionn’s list of approved devices but the plans for its launch in 2018 were aborted leaving us feeling that the Infinix Zero series was not going to continue. A late January launch changes all that
Inside the phone’s pack you get a smoked protective case, SIM-ejector tool, wall charger, charging cable, a pair of in-ear earphones and what looks like a USB Type-C to micro-USB adapter.
The phone’s build is similar to that of the S3x  and I can’t say much about the Geek Bench scores ; In the single-core test, the smartphone scored 1,456, whereas it scored 5,687 in the multi-core test.
I feel the model number of the device – X620B suggests that there might be a pro version of this device . So possibly we’ll get a Zero 6 and Zero 6 Pro.
However until Infinix releases the  phone officially just take this with a pinch of salt.

Infinix Zero 6/ Zero 6 Pro  Vs Infinix Zero 5 Comparison

The Infinix Zero series is undoubtedly Infinix’s Flagship lineup that can compete directly with the Phantom lineup from Tecno. So let’s see how this phone beats it’s predecessor.

Since I’m not really with enough specs currently I’ll just compare the one I have.

Xiaomi Launches In Africa To Compete Against Tecno, iTel and Infinix

Published

Xiaomi

A couple of months ago Xiaomi Global Spokesman Donovan Sung made a post about their new store that launched in Spain and also asked for suggestions on where they should launch their next store and here’s what I said.

Xiaomi Launches In Africa

This means the expansion of Xiaomi had been on the cards for a while.

If you have been following up Xiaomi for a  while, you would know that they tend to compete on the foreign market rather than their home country China due to the congestion.

Now, the company is looking to take things to the next level and come to Africa.  On Sunday, Xiaomi announced the establishment of their African Regional Department and Wang Lingming (Xiaomi’s VP) was appointed as the manager of the department.

Xiaomi

At the moment, in Africa we have over 1.2 billion people but the smartphone usage isn’t really too high and many people still use feature phones and because of this some phone brands don’t really do well in Africa. At the moment Transsision Holdings rules the African smartphone market with its three brands – itel, TECNO, and Infinix ranking at the very top in Africa in terms of market share.

In 2019, the Africa will become one of  Xiaomi’s main pioneers in their international business, and their biggest rival here is Transsision Holdings.

What I Think About Xiaomi Coming To Africa

Xiaomi Redmi

Xiaomi has everything it takes to succeed in Africa especially if it starts off with its recently established Redmi Brand. Redmi already have one of the core features that is missing in all the Transission brands – high quality specs at a low price. You can see how successful the Redmi Note 7 has been so far and we can guess how much the price would have been if it was a Transission product.

Transsision basically takes advantage of the mid-range and low-end smartphone market which is a strong competitive ground for Xiaomi. I believe this would also boost competition among the two brands.

Windows 10 Mobile is Dead

The support for Windows 10 phones have just ended.

Windows 10 Mobile is Dead

Although It’s very sad to see the Operating system go out of fashion, there’s nothing we can do about it. Microsoft has already confirmed that it is officially killing off support for the OS. I actually knew this would happen at some point but I didn’t know it would be this soon.

Windows 10 Mobile is Dead

So if you’re still using a Microsoft Windows 10 Mobile phone, you have less than a year to upgrade to something else preferably an Android Phone.

Windows 10 Mobile Is Dead

Windows 10 Mobile is Dead

Microsoft has already published a support page detailing Windows 10 Mobile’s upcoming End of Support.

According to the company, Windows 10 Mobile users are no longer eligible to receive updates, including security updates, from December 10, 2019. Devices that are running Windows 10 Mobile version 1703 will no longer receive support even earlier — on June 11th, 2019.

So immediately it gets to the end of support date some of the features on the device will slowly stop working and Microsoft won’t do anything about it.  Automatic or manual device backups will end on March 10, 2020.

With this notice, Microsoft just hit the final nail on the coffin of it’s mobile operating system

Alternative Option For Windows 10 Mobile

“Microsoft’s mission statement to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more, compels us to support our Mobile apps on those platforms and devices,” the company said, recommending users to move to an Android or iOS device.

Do you still have a windows phone?
