Microsoft Buys The "Holy Grail" Of Open Source Codes - GitHub For $7.5b And Developers Aren;t Having Any Of It

It’s official. Microsoft has acquired GitHub for $7.5 billion price tag and the many developers who use the site are having some feelings about it.

Microsoft has  a long history of opposing open software that's dfinitely why GitHub devs don't trust them. Some believe that Microsoft might use their codes for future products or that they’ll be forced into exclusively using the company’s products. Microsoft always finds a way of doing that. There’s also some speculations among devs that Microsoft might add tracking or advertisements to all of GitHub’s sites.

As expected a bunch of hilarious memes have flooded the internet from developers. Have a look at some of them
Nevertheless many developers are moving their repos to gitlab. A mmove I think is not stopping anytime soon.
