My Personal Experience Shopping With Gearbest

A couple of weeks ago, a product was ordered on my behalf from Gearbest and I'd say it was a somewhat nice experience shopping with them. However, since the product was sent via free shipping (Registered Air Mail) , it took about 2-3 weeks to get to Nigeria. Normally paid shipping usually ships within a week.

Once the product was purchased, I received a tracking number 2 days later from Gearbest and also a link that shows me the status of the package.

It actually took a while to get here. When the parcel finally got to Nigeria, there was a notification like this -
Parcel Arrived At Exchange Office.

After some days, I saw another notification - Recipients refused to accept shipment.

I was surprised when I saw the notification. I decided to do a little research and got to know that I could also track the package on the NIPOST website.

I tracked the package from the Nipost website and found out that it has been shipped from Lagos to Port Harcourt.

I went to the nearest Post Office close to my location and picked it up. However before picking up the package I had to pay N500 and also come along with my ID card.

The package was intact and nothing was broken. The perfect product. So if you're thinking of ordering products from Gearbest , you don't have to worry. You have my word, your order will get here complete and in good shape.

Nigerian cards are also supported on Gearbest - Verve, Visa and MasterCard.
