WhatsApp To Roll Out Stickers , Security Notifications And More In Coming Updates 1

To be honest, I prefer Telegram to Whatsapp but the annoying thing about Telegram is that it uses up a ridiculous amount of data and it seems Whatsapp is about to borrow a leaf from its competitor.

WhatsApp is going to add something we all have been waiting for for a very very long time –
stickers.

Finally

WhatsApp will now have stickers just like Facebook’s stickers and there will be a sticker store.
In Telegram, the number of stickers youcan include is infinite, since you can also create your own stickers packs. However, WhatsApp will be like Facebook: limited packs, and you have to download them through the WhatsApp Store.

Yes, WhatsApp Store. According to WABetaInfo , this will be the new platform to download them, in the same way, that on Facebook we find the Stickers Shop. I think this might actually open up a way people can earn from Whatsapp by creating and selling their own premium stickers

The stickers have been added but hidden in the latest beta of WhatsApp for Android (version 2.18.32). The first pack that is available is the Unchi and Rollie, with a doll in the form of lee with a roll of toilet paper as a companion. This pack is now available on Facebook and Messenger, so expect that all the packs that are on the social network will reach WhatsApp.

To send stickers a new icon will appear between the emoji selection and the GIFs. When clicking, you will have a tab with the recently sent ones in the first instance, while in the next one we will see the packs that we have downloaded.

When you send the stickers, they will appear with an acceptable size, similar to the one we found when we sent an emoji with an individual heart. In addition, we can receive stickers from anyone, even if we do not have the packs downloaded on our mobile. The resolution of the stickers is 255 x 255 pixels, so its size will be quite small in order to avoid much increase in mobile data consumption. We must remember that Telegram reaches up to 512 x 512 pixels (almost double).

In addition to stickers, from version 2.18.11, if you open the section Check security code and you have security notifications turned off, WhatsApp will ask you to activate it again. Finally, group administrators can also remove a user’s administrator privileges without having to throw him/her out of the conversation

Expect that and more updates in the coming months

spotify-for-ios-finally-gets-the-desired-functionality!

It has become a habit of applications to receive functionality in a non-uniform manner, especially with regard to different versions for Android and iOS. Not being the exception to the rule, Spotify also receives functionality at different times in its various versions.

After being released for the Android version last May, Spotify for iOS received finally the popular “Sleep Timer” feature. That is, iPhone users can also fall asleep listening to their favorite music / podcast without any problem.

Spotify iOS Sleep Timer

How to use the new Spotify feature for iOS

To use the “Sleep Timer” feature is very simple. After selecting the desired song, you will need to click on the “three dots” icon in the upper right corner and select the “Sleep Timer” option.

Then you will only need to choose the timeout where Spotify will be playing the song. You will be able to choose times between 5 and 60 minutes.

Also, for whom doesn’t have a dedicated playlist for when you are getting ready for sleep, the app has also released a new section called “Sleep Hub”. Here you will find a wide list of perfect song suggestions to accompany you in a true “beauty sleep.”

If you still can’t see the functionality on your iPhone, don’t worry. It has been officially confirmed that the feature is being released starting today. However, as usual, it will reach users in a phased manner.

Google Photos New tool will help you keep albums organized

Google Photos remains one of my favorite apps, presenting itself as the perfect way to keep all your photos and videos organized in one place. In addition, they are accessible virtually anywhere and on any device.

As one of the most popular Google Apps, they continue to invest a lot of resources in developing and implementing new features. The latest addition will help you keep albums organized by making it easy to find what you’re really looking for.

A small detail that can save you a lot of time.

The new implementation may go unnoticed for many users, but it is no less important. In the albums tab, Google Photos will start displaying a new option, which allows you to organize your albums according to different conditions.

For now, at this early stage, you will be able to keep albums organized by what has the most recent photo, which you modified less recently or simply in alphabetical order. Most likely, Google will continue to develop this new implementation to make it even easier to find the album you want.

This new implementation is coming first hand to Android smartphone users and is not yet available for iOS or the web version. However, it is important to note that it is being launched through Google’s servers. That is, it will not reach all users at the same time.

In order to receive the new implementation, you need to have the latest version of the App, so make sure you don’t have any updates available.

Although it has not been officially confirmed, it is believed that once reaching all Android users, the new feature will eventually also be available for iOS and the web version of Google Photos.
