iPhone X Plus? Has There Been A Leak of The 2019 Model?

Published

on

Even before the first iPhone X is shipped, there are rumors Apple could be working on the iPhone X Plus thought to get to the market in 2019. Most of the information that has been shared includes renderings that show how the iPhone X will look, not forgetting experts have also shared bits of details about some of the features the phone might have.

iPhone X Plus? Has There Been A Leak of The 2019 Model? 1

Although it is a long way before the phone is officially released, it is also necessary to preview the reviews being shared as most of them point to the trend obvious of Apple.

Noelle Neff is a photographer who has also been working on different phone reviews highlighting the new features included in phones that you might want to know about. She has been keenly following news about the iPhone and one of her recent engagements highlight the planned release of the iPhone X Plus.

Display Type And Size
According to the information leaked, Apple is set to release two phones in late 2018, one that comes with a 5.28-inch screen while the second will feature a larger 6-inches screen. Further information came out citing that Apple would not work on the 5.28-inch screen to focus on larger screens, so the phone to hit the market in 2019 will most likely have a screen that is more than 6 inches. According to reviews, experts are convinced the 6 inches model the company is working on is the iPhone X Plus.

After introducing the OLED screen system, Apple seems to have come to a wise decision and this is the same screen that will be used on the iPhone X Plus perceived to be released in 2019. Although there were rumors the company would revert to the LCD display for the larger screen model of the iPhone X, Apple has already signed an agreement with Samsung Display and the company will be supplying OLED screens to Apple. This could only mean if the iPhone X Plus will be produced in 2018 the phone will feature an OLED screen similar to the one used on the iPhone X.

Features
Just like many other Plus models of the iPhone, the iPhone X Plus is expected to share many features with its base model. Such include the charging system and screen design as well as processor, so expect to have more of the A11 Bionic chip.

However, there is likely to be some changes to the camera to make it better and this might be as a result of the competition Apple has been facing with the release of the Note 8, which has some decent features. The engineers at Apple have a reputation for building features to perfection and even the slightest details highlighted on the iPhone X will be factored in to polish the Plus model by making the corrections.

What is not clear about the iPhone X Plus is the pricing as there has not been official communication from Apple to help the market prepare. The only thing certain is that it will definitely cost more than the iPhone X, so this probably will continue to elevate the prices of the iPhone by taking over the position of the most expensive iPhone ever.

But as a lot of information flies around about the phone, it is not sufficient to decide what will be included the phone. It is advisable to hold on until Apple issues an official statement explaining their next action. Therefore, don’t simply bank on the renderings said to have leaked as this could be trials made before the design team comes to a conclusion on what might be ideal for the next release from Apple.

Sleek design but should you buy it? Infinix Note 7 - Full specs, Features & Cost in Nigeria 2

Chinese conglomerate Transsion Holdings enjoys a moderate foothold in Nigeria’s mobile phone market alongside its Itel and Tecno brands, and also has one of the country’s top artists in an ambassadorship role. With well received range of devices to it’s name which the S, Hot and Note series are all huge representatives.

Now, the company’s Infinix brand has launched the successor to its Note budget smartphone – the Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite. Both falling within the budget smartphone segment, with features that are intended to match the current competition.

Infinix Note 7 Lite specs

The infinix Note series smartphone has no doubt always captured the interest of the public especially with it’s sleek design build and camera system but with the many devices churn out lately were left wondering if the new Note 7 is really a necessary upgrade now or are we left paying for yet another crap?

Infinix Note 7 Specifications and Features

The smartphone design comes quite impressive with it’s sleek build and amazing screen-to-body ratio which means we get less bezels and just that punch hole front camera sitting all the way to the top left.

Infinix Note 7 smartphone has a 6.95 inches IPS LCD display. It measures 173.4 mm x 79 mm x 8.8 mm and weighs . The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels and 258 ppi pixel density.

But then why is all this beauty being enclosed in an extreme plastic body?

The fact Infinix continues making smartphones with plastic components and tagging them all up with huge market price doesn’t bode well for the Nigerian market going forward especially with major competitors like Xiaomi lurking in the background.

Again, that’s your call to make there.

Infinix Note 7 smartphone runs on Android v10 (Q) operating system with Infinix 6.0 custom skin slapped ontop. The device is powered by Octa core (2 GHz, Dual core, Cortex A75 + 1.7 GHz, Hexa Core, Cortex A55) processor and runs on the MediaTek Helio G70 Chipset and Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU.

On camera department, infinix Note 7 users get a quad camera that consists of 48 MP (wide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth) + 2 MP (dedicated video camera) with features like Fixed Focus, Quad-LED flash, panorama,HDR, etc. The front camera consist of a 16 MP camera(wide).

The Infinix Note 7 smartphone is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery + Fast charging 18W. It has 4 GB and 6 GB as RAM options and a 64 GB or 128 GB available internal storage.

You’re assured never to run out of juice whilst you multitask on this amazing device right?

The device is integrated with a loudspeaker with dual speakers and a 3.5mm jack. Connectivity features include; Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, Radio, Volte and USB.The phone handles Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

Available sensors include Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, and compass.

Infinix Note 7 price & availability in Nigeria

Infinix Note 7 specs, price in Nigeria

The infinix Note 7 device was launched in April in the Nigerian market and is therefore available for order from any of their major stores – Xspark for N78,000.

There’s also a Note 7 Lite version which appears to be a toned din version of the base device.

The available color options are Bolivia Blue, Aether Black and Forest Green.

Should you buy it?

The Infinix Note 5 was a huge success and the Note 7 unarguably promises even more with suspicions of a Coning Gorilla glass, but from a mid-range user perspective it is more stringent they start prioritizing function over fancy.

Having a mid-range device with plastic components is no big deal at least Samsung intentionally do that on their A-series but then you have to look at the competition.

Also, the world don’t need to hit the caves for protection over Covid-19 before Transsion starts making a smartphone with a Snapdragon SOc.

Of course, these are tiny details but then, the Infinix Note 7 device promises a great mid-range experience especially with that Huawei Mate 30-esque camera arrangement. Hehehe

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 specs leaked online with alleged Galaxy S20 camera setup 5

As it’s always the case with every new smartphone release; there’s always this excitement with every sneak peak at the details before launch.

We saw that with the Galaxy S20 lineup and looks like the doers have again gone blockbuster with the Samsung Galaxy S20 and several details you might want to know.

While speculations regarding the launch timeline of the phone had been happening, this for the first time that alleged renders of Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone have been reported.

And who says it doesn’t look pretty much like the S20??!!

The renders come from Pigtou who claims that these renders are based on drawings obtained by the outlet’s sources and not conceptual.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 rendered spec and features

The expected flagship unsurprisingly looks a lot like the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with major exception being the boxier appearance and the square corners which is the case with all Note series.

The devices dimensions are 161.8 x 75.3 x 8.5mm, which is roughly the same size as the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ or if you want to be more precise, a little more than half a millimitre thicker. The dimensions of the camera module are even reported as well: 38.1mm by 21.9mm.

The Galaxy Note20 and Note20+ are expected to arrive with the same storage allocations as the Galaxy S20 lineup, running either the Snapdragon 865 or the Exynos 990.

The Galaxy Note20 and Note20+ have previously been rumored to come with 4000 mAh and 4500 mAh batteries, respectively.

What better time to make all our wishes come true…

A larger Samsung Galaxy Note20+ much bigger than the Galaxy S20 is expected as well, which will be quite interesting right.

We always love it bigger…

With the dimensions mentioned above (of the Note20), the report suggests it might be 6.7-inches diagonally, and the renders show the display is totally flat. We enjoy the idea that a Note device will no longer have curved edges. It’ll make it easier to use the S-Pen with

The S Pen location has also changed from the right to the left, which is likely what Samsung needed to do to get all the physical buttons over to the right side. The SIM tray is at the top of the device.

The power button also makes its return to the right hand side of the smartphone after an unsuccessful trial on the left with the Galaxy Note 10+.

Other minor tweaks are always what we have come to expect from flagship smartphone upgrades.

Just Ask Apple and their iPhones users…

When is the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 launch event

The Galaxy S and Note series have always been an integral part of the Hong Kong based smartphone producer, in fact they are the only Samsung products that do get a official physical launch.

These devices have seen launch venues from New York, London and even Seoul.

However, the situation is beyond the control of the company as COVID-19 pandemic has forced people to stay indoors as much as possible.

Though nothing confirmed yet, the Samsung Galaxy Note20 is expected sometime in August during Samsung’s bi-annual Unpacked event. Only this time, we can expect an only-Virtual launch event.
