So Much Ado About Google Allo – Users Worried Over Privacy

So Much Ado About Google Allo - Users Worried Over Privacy 1

Most people use their phones for messaging more than almost anything else. That’s why companies like Apple, Facebook, and Snapchat are dumping truckloads into making it easier and more fun to send messages. In May at I/O, Google announced Allo, its latest foray into the brave new world of messaging. Now, the app is finally available for everyone to download. Google hasn’t been too successful in the world of instant messaging.

Allo looks like most of the messaging apps you’ve probably already used before. Like Facebook Messenger and iMessage, it lets you send stickers, draw on photos, and send media from your phone. In many ways, it’s almost exactly the same as Google’s Messenger andHangouts apps. What makes Allo different than everything that’s come before, though, is its deep integration with Google’s artificial intelligence.

So Much Ado About Google Allo - Users Worried Over Privacy 2

The first thing you’ll notice in Allo is the suggested replies that pop up when anyone sends you a message. The most common phrases you’ll see are ones like “Okay” or “Got it.” Phrases can be sent by tapping just once. The suggested phrases can be sent from the notifications screen or within the app.

For now, Google’s suggestions are relatively simple. The app is currently pulling from a default list for all users. Once more people begin to use the app, however, Google’s AI will get smarter and begin to suggest personalize phrased based on people’s speech. The difference could be as simple as suggesting “LOL” rather than “haha.”

It’s a little creepy to willingly let Google’s AI read your conversations, especially if you’re concerned about your privacy, but I say it’s completely worth it for the level of convenience that it adds. If you’re having conversations about classified or sensitive information, there are probably better apps  out there for you to use.

Suggested replies are a nice little addition that makes it easier (and more polite) to dismiss text messages when you’re busy or can’t get back by actually responding. The amount of time it takes to send a coherent response is so short that there’s almost no excuse for not replying.

So Much Ado About Google Allo - Users Worried Over Privacy 3

The AI goes deeper though. Allo also includes a chat helper called “Google Assistant” that can answer questions about basically anything you can search on Google. The assistant works a lot like Siri or Cortana or Alexa, except you write to it rather than talk.

Google Assistant can be called upon in any text message, and its answers to questions are shared to everyone in the chat. The assistant can answer questions about the weather, nearby restaurants, or directions to places. It’s basically Google Now built right into the messages that you’re already sending.

For now, the best searches are generic and nearly identical to the ones answered by Google Now or Google Voice Search. It uses a similar AI to process the requests. Queries like “Show me nearby restaurants” or “What’s the Yankees score?” will make a familiar-looking Google search result card appear. You can also ask follow-up questions like “What’s the weather?” and then “What about this weekend?” Its ability to use Google Search puts it years ahead of any other digital assistants including Siri and Alexa.

Beyond today’s capabilities, the the potential is huge. In a briefing, Google suggested that the assistant-in other words the artificial intelligence-will become smarter over time, and could begin to answer more complex questions or even predict questions. It’s easy to imagine how someday Google Assistant might help you find a good time on the calendar to meet with someone, find hotels, or check-in to flights.

In the long run, in order to be really useful, the assistant will need to use data Google has already collected from all of its other services. Google Search, Maps, Drive, and Calendar might one day share information to the Google Assistant. And as with the the suggested responses, things start to enter the land of the creepy here. From a privacy standpoint, it feels a little freaky and invasive. But from a convenience standpoint, I welcome this super powerful AI to rummage through my data in order to help me get things done faster. It’s easy to imagine how Google Assistant might one day help you and a friend make lunch plans by finding a time that works for everyone, central location, and meets all the dietary restrictions that everyone has. The point of the assistant is to make planning easier, and with all the information I’m already feeding Google, I have high hopes about how it might be able to help.

The last important feature is Incognito Mode, which is entirely focused on security. Incognito Mode enables end-to-end encryption and increases the level of security between two users at various levels. The most important thing to note is Incognito Mode is it’s an opt-in feature, and privacy advocates have been fighting for encryption by default in all major messaging apps.

So Much Ado About Google Allo - Users Worried Over Privacy 4

Incognito Mode uses the Signal Protocol  for its encryption, so it meets the same standards as other messaging services like Signal and WhatsApp. , the Signal Protocol is currently the best standard in end-to-end encryption. In short, no one but the recipient and sender are able to read the message.

Google Assistant is not available in Incognito Mode because it’s basically a man in the middle. Because encrypted messages can only be read by the sender and recipient, the AI assistant is unable to lurk over messages. Aside from not being able to use Google Assistant, you’re free to do all of the things you’d normally do in the messaging app. You can send stickers, photos, videos, audio messages, and other attachments.

Incognito Mode also lets you set an expiration on any of your messages. When the timer goes off, your message deletes forever. Google doesn’t store any of the expired messages on its servers, and even if it did, it would be encrypted with the Signal Protocol, so Googlewouldn’t be able to read the message anyways. It would be useless.

. The basic editing tools like drawing on photos and changing text size make it easy for everyday use. The real kicker is Incognito Mode, and what it will inspire my friends to do. It’s a safe space in a world that is becoming increasingly more hostile online. It’s nice to see that Google is making it easier for everyone to encrypt and even delete their weird messages-and I know there are a lot of you out there sending them.

Instagram Purge – Instagram To Massively Delete Fake Accounts And Fake Likes

Instagram Purge - Instagram To Massively Delete Fake Accounts And Fake Likes 15
You shouldn’t be surprised seeing accounts with thousands of followers but no engagement on instagram. Some get massive comments and likes from fake accounts and Instagram is clamping down on these fake accounts.

Some people follow and then unfollow others — after they get a follow back — and through the use of third-party apps that promote inauthentic likes, follows and comments.

You may see Instagram follow accounts start to drop in the coming days, and this is why. According to a company blog post, Instagram is trying to do something about the use of third-party apps that ‘grammers use to help artificially grow their audience.

Instagram Purge - Instagram To Massively Delete Fake Accounts And Fake Likes 16

“Every day, people come to Instagram to have real experiences, including genuine interactions,” the company notes. “It is our responsibility to ensure these experiences aren’t disrupted by inauthentic activity. Starting today, we will begin removing inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity.

“We’ve built machine learning tools to help identify accounts that use these services and remove the inauthentic activity. This type of behavior is bad for the community, and third-party apps that generate inauthentic likes, follows and comments violate our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use.”

Instagram Purge - Instagram To Massively Delete Fake Accounts And Fake Likes 17

If you are using any of this services you shouldn’t be scared of your account being deleted. Instagram will send you an in-app message alerting the you that they have removed inauthentic likes, follows and comments from your account. That user will also be asked to secure their account by changing their password.

There’s also a vague warning that accounts which continue to use third-party apps to grow their audience in this manner “may see their Instagram experience impacted.”

I’m not sure what Instagram means by  “users seeing their Instagram experience impacted” but I can guess it would be using Instagram Shadow ban which limits your engagement so much you hate your Instagram Account.

Facebook at large, of course, has been hampered by a slew of bad news lately, with the company’s ham-fisted response to inauthentic activity across its family of apps increasingly coming under scrutiny. Instagram, for its part, says it will be ramping up its efforts along these lines even more so than what it included in the announcement today.

Also from the company’s post: “Since the early days of Instagram, we have auto-detected and removed fake accounts to protect our community. Today’s update is just another step in keeping Instagram a vibrant community where people connect and share in authentic ways. We’ll have more updates in the coming weeks on additional measures we’re taking to tackle inauthentic activity on Instagram.”

Full Exclusive Post - How To Get 10,000 Followers On Instagram Within One Week 26
A few weeks ago I had a little personal challenge I wanted to achieve. To see how I’ll get 10,000 followers on Instagram within 1 week and I actually got it.

Full Exclusive Post - How To Get 10,000 Followers On Instagram Within One Week 27

    Here’s a screenshot –

Full Exclusive Post - How To Get 10,000 Followers On Instagram Within One Week 28

Now I’m guessing you must be wondering how I got the followers ,So without further ado let me get straight to the point.

    Requirements For This

    1. An Android Smartphone
    2. App Cloner – Download Here
    3. Neutrino + – Dowload Here
    4. Instagram App. I believe you should have this before even opening this post

    How It Works

Neutrino + has over 5 Million Downloads and about 8 Million Users globally so your account isn’t followed by bots. They are real people and can unfollow you at anytime. A couple of people tend to unfollow sometimes. Luckily the app has a way to punish people that don’t keep following you.

The main aim of this app is to get 359 crystals then boost your account to gain followers. However, you can either follow other people to get crystals or simply buy the crystals but in this tutorial I’ll be showing you how to trick the system a bit.

    • Normally Instagram lets you sign in to multiple accounts on one app so all you have to do is create at least 2 fake accounts. (Make sure you take note of the username and password)
    • Post 2 pictures on each of the accounts then wait for about 5 Minutes.
    • Launch App Cloner then select Neutrino + and change the icon color then click the tick icon and wait for it to clone (Make sure you have enough space in your phone before doing this)
    • Once it finishes cloning you’ll have 3 Neutrino + Apps on your phone
    • Login to your main account on the original neutrino app and log in to your fake accounts on the two cloned apps.
    • In order to get a bonus when opening the Neutrino + use this referral code – 8362171
    • Click on the star icon to start subscribing to people on the fake accounts (Don’t do this with your main account)
    • Keep subscribing till you see an error message that you are following too much.
    • Click on the big crystal button on the bottom right of the app then slide to more crystals
    • Scroll down then transfer all the crystals to your main account – your nickname is your main username
    • Repeat the same thing on the second fake account then go back to your main account on Neutrino then click on the star icon then select gain followers.
Then watch your followers grow. Repeat the procedure after 10 minutes, just follow with the fake accounts , transfer to your main account then boost to gain followers.

WhatsApp Is Working On Adding A Face ID and Finger Print Feature - How To Get It 32

While we all are waiting for the Facebook owned instant messaging platform to launch the night mode, WaBetaInfo – a website that follows up the latest updates coming from Whatsapp has revealed that WhatsApp is working on adding a FaceID and Biometrics feature

WhatsApp Is Working On Adding A Face ID and Finger Print Feature - How To Get It 33

    Touch ID/ Face ID Feature:

The Touch ID/ Face ID feature is a new feature still in works usable only if your device has Face ID or Touch ID support.

WhatsApp Touch IDImage Credit: Wabetainfo – Touch ID for iOS

When this feature is enabled, every time you open your WhatsApp, Face ID or Touch I D authentication will be required. This is a new protection level added by WhatsApp. If you enter too many wrong attempts, WhatsApp will ask you to enter your Passcode.
Once the feature is available, you’ll find it in your Privacy Settings>>Touch ID.
It appears this feature (Touch I D/ Face ID) is currently being develop for iPhone users, and we don’t know if it will be made available for Android users in the future.
If you want to get this feature once its available before other people get it, update to WhatsApp beta. Go to playstore and scroll down on the whatsapp page and select – become a beta tester, then update your whatsapp.
In the meantime, I have a pretty bad feeling about the status ads that are coming to WhatsApp soon.
