How To Get 2Gb On MTN with N45 (PSIPHON AND NETLOOP)

Published

on

MTN has been quite  unstable during
the past weeks. I got several  complaints from different  users about the MTN
6GB for N600 data plan not working.
Finally Here’s a working 2GB data plan for N45 that
works on all devices and this would last unlike the music plus
tweak that didn’t last that long.
Actually, the normal charge for the plan is N450, but i tried it and was lucky enough to be charged just N45 instead of
N450. Anyways, N450 is still okay for the 2GB plan, so I would
advise you’ve a minimum of N50 before
trying to opt-in for the
2GB data plan.

To opt-in, simply text T3 to 33988 and either N45 or N450 would
be deducted from your credit balance. So it’s advisable you first try
with the minimum of N50 on your device, and then try texting the
message. If you’re lucky, you’ll receive a success message saying
that you’ve successfully subscribed to MTN mobisafe backup and
you’ll be given 2GB data. If you’re not lucky to get a success
message, then you can credit your line with N450 and send the
text. Alternatively, you can choose to opt-in for the 100MB data
plan for N50 by texting TI to 33988 or the 1GB data for N250 by
texting T2 to 33988 .
You’ve successfully subscribed for the MTN Mobisafe plan; the
question is how you can use it on your android device? The
tweaking process is very simple, so tunneling the whole device so
as the trick would work on any app is no big deal. Simply follow the
instruction below.
1. Firstly, launch either Netloop VPN or Psiphon and configure
using the below settings.
2. For Psiphon users, make use of the below settings.
Tick Remove Port
Proxy type: Real Host
Proxy Server: mtnn.mobisafebackup.com or use
mtnn.mobisafebackup.com%2f%[email protected]
Real Proxy Type: HTTP
Port: 8080
…. Save…
Tick Tunnel whole device and accept
Now swipe to options and select United States as region
Go to “more options”
Tick connect through an HTTP Proxy…
Also Tick Use following settings…
Host Address: 10.199.212.2
Port: 8080
… Go Back and Connect…
3. For Netloop users, make use of the below settings.
tick Enable Proxy
>>> Proxy host: 10.199.212.2
>>> Proxy Port: 8080
>>> Enable header tweaking
>>> Choose tweak type: Injection
>>> Inject query/url: Http://mobisafebackup.com/m/?
t=2609855b3e7eabdcff
>>> Inject Host: mobisafebackup.com
>>> Injection line: press enter 4 times
>>> Now go back to the netloop main menu, and tap “Local
server settings” <<<
>>> buffer size: 8092
>>> Concurren connection: 10
>>> Go to log lelevel and select “DEBUG”.
>>> That’s all… start server <<<
4. Make sure that your mobile network proxy address is set to
127.0.0.1 with port 8080 .
For PC users, you can make use of simple server program, make sure that your browser and IDM is set to
127.0.0.1 with port 8080. .

But the question is this –

Is the 9mobile free whatsapp offer totally free?

Well the answer to that is No, it’s not. You would need to have another active data bundle before you can use the free whatsapp which means your data would be subtracted for every other thing you do apart from whatsapp usage.

See List Of Countries With The Cheapest Data Plans , You Won't Believe Where Nigeria Is 5

Normally when it comes to cheap data plans I always tell people that Nigeria is one of the countries with the cheapest data plans in the world and I haven’t been too far from the truth. Take a look at at this graph from Statista.

Countries With The Cheapest Data

Countries with the cheapest data plans

Nigeria ranks 4th in the list of selected countries with the cheapest data plans.

While a gigabyte of data would set Italian smartphone users back $1.73, the same amount would cost $2.22 in Nigeria, $2.99 in France, $6.66 in the United Kingdom and $6.96 in Germany. Costs are even higher in North America where they average $12.02 in Canada and $12.38 in the United States.

So should we give our Network Providers some accolades for giving us the cheapest data plans in the world?

Nope. Definitely not worth a standing ovation especially if you check the fact that we have one of the slowest 4G speeds in the world.

Nigeria’s top 4G speed is placed between 9.5Mbps and 16.2Mbps, while Algeria’s slowest speed of 2.6Mbps is the worst in the world.

However here’s the plot twist, the country with the slowest 4G speed – Algeria’s top download speed of 16.4Mbps still beat the fastest speeds in Thailand (11.7Mbps), India (14.6Mbps) and Nigeria (16.2Mbps).

Now I feel they only deserve the accolades for constantly zapping our data. Nevertheless I feel ISP’s in Nigeria can definitely do better than this.
