How To Update Infinix Note 2 To Android 6.0(Marshmallow)

Good news to all Infinix Note 2 users, Infinix mobility has released an update to Android 6.0
Marshmallow for note 2 devices. However, this update
brings about upgrade to XUI 1.N.3.0,

New Features

XACCOUNT registration
added to startup guide, record toggle on notification bar and
upgraded version of screen recorder.
Although this update hasn’t been made available on all
Infinix Note 2 devices via OTA, but you can choose to flash
the official ROM into your smartphone via TF card version or
main flash version. We also managed to gather the full
changelog of this update.

1)XUIupgraded to 1.N.3.0
2)Fixed issue where front camera cannot be accessed by
non-system apps.
3)Added video call (only usable if SIM card supports this
4)Fixed one-hand mode malfunction
5)Fixed issue where Direct Call widget does not display
contact avatar.
6)Removed pin number notification from pulldown bar when
Mobile Anti-Theftis activated.
7)Fixed button overlap with "Just once - Always" and “Home-
8)Battery percentage added to pulldown bar.
9)Added quick wallpaper swap for enhanced
customization.Long press theIdle interface, select a key
switch wallpaper from the widget
10)Screen Record upgraded to V1.0; record toggle added to
notification bar.
11)Added Xshare function with QR delivery.
12)Optimized communication module interaction and
13)XACCOUNT registration added to startup guide.
14)Optimized system stability and performance while fixing
other issues.

You can check if the update is already pushed on your
device. Simply go to your device settings >> About phone >>
wireless update and check-in for the most recent update. If
yours isn’t available, I advise you exercise little patient.

can also choose to manually upgrade your Infinix Note 2 to
android 6.0 marshmallow rom.

For those who’ve already rooted there infinix note 2 devices ,
you're strongly advised to unroot or flash the rom of your
device to android 6.0 marshmallow rom. Upgrading an
already rooted device over-the-air can get the device bricked.
