Twitter Increases Display Name Character Limit To 50 Characters

When It comes to churning out unnecessary updates, No social network beats Twitter to that. I'll definitely give them a thumbs up for increasing the tweet character limit but I can't see any reason for increasing the display name character limit.

Trust me , I'm not the only one that does no approve of the update ,Twitter has already been flooded with Tweets mocking the change since it came into effect.

Now Jack Dorsey, I have a question for you. Where is our edit button?..It's 2017 and we still cannot edit our tweets.

Twitter updates are becoming an epic failure.

Before now, Twitter display name could only contain 20 characters, but now you have up to 50 characters.

Notably, this change only applies to display names and not to the user names.

This change is sure to please all those who felt that the previous law of the Twitter land, 20-character display names, stifled creativity, expression, and in no way contributed to an easy-to-read experience while scanning their respective feeds
