Glo Increases Cost Of Data Plans - What You Should Know

Previously, Nigerian Telco Globacom released the most affordable data plans and that attracted many customers to their network. However , in some locations subscribers complained that the network was slow.

The cost of data on the 4G LTe and 3G Bundles have always been the same with the exception of the 1.6Gb GB plan for N500 which was available on 4G plans only.

Previously N1000 could get you 3.2Gb now N1000 gives you just 1.6Gb.

I decided to know why Glo decided to hike the price without any notice and the whole thing seemed a bit confusing but I managed to understand what they meant after they explained further.

Here's what you should know about the data reduction.

#1. New Subscribers will get 3.2GB for N1000

#2. Existing Subscribers with an active
Subscription will still get 3.2GB for N1000 if the plan is automatically renewed or renewed within 3 days of expiry. If it is not renewed they will start using the new data rates.

#3. Existing Subscribers without an active subscription will get 1.6GB for N1000.
