Leaks And Leaks Everywhere.
Meizu just shared the announcement date and teasers about its upcoming Flyme 6 OS based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The premiere will hold on the 30th November at a special Meizu tech event.
There are a few teasers that can be seen on Weibo, but there's nothing that really reveals anything about the upcoming Flyme 6 OS. The only thing I know is the event's slogan is stolen from Donald Trump (literally) The slogan is- Make 6 Great Again. Again, really?
Now that we all are quite sure that the Pro 7 will premiere next year, I sincerely thought that the Meizu X will be the star at the event next week.
The device will be the first to carry the new Helio X30 chip with a powerful 10-core processor and the latest PowerVR 7XT quad-core GPU, the same one used in the iPhone 7 series. The Meizu m5 note with a Helio P20 chip was also rumored to make an appearance.
But today another leak, a sketch suggests there's really something else happening we don't know yet . This mysterious Meizu smartphone has a curved display, a dual-camera, and a queer Meizu logo placement at the back at a dedicated circle. This device is certainly not the Meizu X, nor the Meizu Pro 7.
Meizu may announce another device at the event, or it will go may public next year. Or maybe it's just a concept that won't ever exist . Who knows. But still, I'll be following the story and keep you updated.
