This device in question will likely be the Huawei P10 and was spotted on Chinese social network Weibo . The pair of shots of what appears to be an early prototype prove an ongoing hunch, that Huawei might go for a front-mounted fingerprint reader this time around. That definitely seems to be the case.
I think it's nice to see that the signature dual-camera setup of the P9 appears to be carried over. Powered by Leica tech, it mixes a color and a monochrome shooter for some interesting effects and better overall low-light performance.
As expected , today's leak also comes complete with a set of suggested hardware specs for the Huawei P10.
The phone will likely have a 5.5-inch panel, with QHD resolution. Under the hood, we expect to see the company's own Kirin 960 SoC, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage. A higher tier model with a 6GB, plus 128GB setup is also suggested.
